John Robinson, editor of the Greensboro News-Record in North Carolina, was one of the first newspaper editors to embrace blogging. He says he did it to increase transparency in his newsroom. I love blogs. I recently met a guy who was hired as a full time blogger for the Washington post.
My favorites:
George Bullard (Sue's hubby): http://info.detnews.com/redesign/blogs/bullardblog/index.cfm?CFID=18773512&CFTOKEN=15537939
and Dr. Sex (He doesn't update very often, but it's fun to read): http://spartanedge.com/blogs/spartanedge11/
